So Comikaze has been a hugely successful show for us! We had an awesome panel where we met a ton of aspiring comic creators. We had a great time at our booth where we met a bunch of new fans young and old. In fact, we are dedicating a new page to our WE Fanatics. Thank you to Regina and Stan for putting on a great show, and thank you to all of you for coming out.

So today is officially Read Comics in Public Day and the crew here at WE Comics wants to see you show your love for comic books! So here’s your mission:

1. Go to a Public Place (i.e. the park, subway, a restaurant or bar)

2. Read a comic while you’re there (any comic is fine but if it’s a WE Comic, even better!)

3. Take a picture of yourself reading the comic.

4. Share that picture with us on our twitter @wecomics or our facebook page.

We will pick the best pictures and send you a prize!

We wanted to find a way to spread the word about our new book Triage, and so we decided to do a series of photos celebrating what Triage is all about: Women and Comics! Triage creator Mairghread Scott teamed up with social media goddess Dina Kampmeyer to bring you these awesome photos of our friends enjoying a good read despite all the things they probably should be doing instead. Feel free to spread these photos all over the internet and let’s celebrate this awesome new comic and let’s once for and all shout from the rooftops “We’re geeks and there’s nothing you can do about it!”
